It's Founder's Day
April 12 is Cuenca's Founding Day, that is, the day the Cuenca was founded by the Spanish. The Inca and Canari were already here. To celebrate, there was a parade, wreaths are laid in Parque Calderon, and all weekend long there were various artisans and artists selling their wares. Here are a few pictures.
